MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Episcopal Church women of the diocese of Newark shall be to enable every woman to achieve full participation in the life of the church, to claim the power given her by the Holy spirit and to reach that potential as a Christian.
ORGANIZATION OF EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN
DIOCESE OF NEWARK
Diocesan Board is composed of the elected officers and committee chairs. The purpose of the Board is to encourage and help women take a responsible and creative part in the total life and program of the Church as well as to direct the work of the Episcopal Church Women at the diocesan level.
UNITED THANK OFFERING
This is not a budget item to be raised by an offering to share. It combines prayer and action and it educates the whole Church on the connection between giving thanks and giving money. We are united in sharing and praying in order to respond in a pioneering way to carry out Jesus’ command for us to “feed and take care of His sheep”. THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN’S PRAYER
Almighty God, we pray that you will bless our work in mission and ministry in the world. We give thanks for the gifts of joy and wonder to be found in your works. Make us so thankful for the power of your love, given through your Son, Jesus, that we may pray, labor and give liberally to make known that love throughout the world. Bless us that our lives may shine forth the joy and wonder we share in your name.
Amen.
